Instructions for publishing a downloaded website with Down-web
The simplest and fastest way: register and purchase a domain at Beget.
Create a support ticket and send them the archive. The support team will install the copied
website
on your new domain.
This guide explains how to publish your website on Beget hosting, which we highly recommend.
To publish your website, follow these steps:
1. Choose a plan and sign in to the control panel: Order hosting on the plan you need and log in
to
the control panel using the login and password sent to your email after registration on the
Beget
website.
2. Register a domain: In the "Domains and Subdomains" section, click "Add Domain." If you already
have a registered domain, add it there. While registering, create a domain admin contact and
select
the required options. Wait 3-24 hours for DNS updates.
3. Create a site directory: Go to the "Sites" section and choose "Create a new site." Select
"Create
a directory" and specify the directory name, preferably the same as the domain.
4. Bind the domain to the site directory: In the "Sites" section, click "Bind domain" next to the
created directory and select the required domain from the list. If the domain is not visible, it
may
be bound to another directory and needs to be unbound first.
5. Upload site files: Go to "File Manager," open the created site directory, and then open the
public_html folder. Delete all files in this folder. Then select "File" -> "Upload to server"
and
upload the ZIP archive with your website. Unzip the archive via "Archiver" -> "Extract" in the
manager menu.
6. Check the website: Open your domain in the browser address bar and verify that the site loads
correctly.
Follow these steps to ensure your website is successfully published on Beget hosting.
